Nor1255 replaces the well-known Nor1251.
Nor1255 is a small battery-operated precision class 1 microphone calibrator generating 114 dB @ 1k Hz conforming to IEC 60942 and ANSI S1.40.
The Nor1255 uses the same reference microphone and design principle as the more sophisticated version Nor1256.
The Nor1255 replaces the well-known Nor1251 sound calibrator that was the first true class 1 calibrator entering the market back in 1992.
The users have appreciated the remarkable stability of the Nor1251. Most of the calibrators sold back in the early nineties are still in use with literally no need for readjustments when they come back for the annual verification. It is the design principle of the Nor1251 that has been used to create the new generation of sound calibrators from Norsonic, just refined with today’s technology.
